ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAM

An Extra Curriculum Program

for Sixth Graders

The Hellenic Heritage Institute has developed a program for school

children who study Greece as part of their Social Science

Curriculum.

􀂙 Immersion program of Greek culture and history, with

focus on the 6th grade Social Science curriculum as it

relates to the ancient and contemporary Greece.

􀂙 Students have the opportunity to participate in interactive

activities that provide a rewarding and lasting experience

in the Greek Culture.

 The Program includes:

History, Language, Olympic Games, Greek Folk

Dancing, Cooking, Art

Although the program is designed mainly for 6th grade students

who study Greek History the program is adjusted for other grade

levels.

The Hellenic Heritage Museum is the next best thing to visiting

Greece and a field trip to the History Park is a very special outing.
